Chacha Hindustani

Hi friends, today I am uploading the enhanced version of  Manoj Comics 'Chacha Hindustani'.

Chacha Hindustani series was a short lived series which started in the ending era of Manoj Comics. It was drawn by Late Bedi Ji (the main artist of Raj Comics character Bankelal) and written by Mr. Ansar Akhtar. This is the very first comics in the series. The comics is about a retired army colonel Narendra Chauhan who is popularly known as 'Chacha Hindustani'. His comics were fun and were in the format of short stories spanning 4-7 pages each. The stories use to be simple but good and entertaining. In most stories we see Chacha Hindustani helping police in catching all the baddies through his wit, bravery, luck or his other supporting characters.

The other supporting characters in the series are Chacha's wife Bharti Chachi, 3 orphan kids ie, Raju, Raja and Ram, being taken care by Chacha. These 3 are Muslim, Christian and Hindu resp. Raju is a very good artist, Raja is a very smart toy maker and Ram is a sportsman who is good in all sports. Along with them we also have a Ginnie who obeys all orders of Chacha but Chacha has taken oath that he will neither use any of Ginnie's powers and nor will he allow Ginnie to use his powers. Together, they all combine to provide us simple light hearted stories.

So, download, read and enjoy the comics till we meet again.

Hi friends, I am back again with another enhanced comics. Today I am posting a Manoj comic called 'Capsule Ki Wapsi' from Col. Karna-Captain Aslam series.

Mahabali Shera aur Aadamkhor Thumba

Hi friends, today I am uploading the enhanced version of a Manoj Comics 'Mahabali Shera aur Aadamkhor Thumba'. This one is from Mahabali Shera series.

Mahabali Shera was a Tarzan type character. Nearly every Indian comics publication has a character that lives in jungle and protect the jungle people, flora and funa and fights the evil forces. We have examples like Vetaal, Tarzan/Dilawar, Korak, Tor, etc taken from foreign comics. Amongst Indian comics, we have Mahabali Shaka from Diamond Comics, Angara from Tulsi Comics, Bheriya from Raj Comics, Shaktimaan from Parampara Comics, Mahabali Dhoomketu from Mahabali Comics, Jonga from Nutan Comics, Mahabali Bhoochal from Prabhat/Chunnu/Neelam Comics, Shuza from Madhu Muskan Comics, Mahabali Langura from Durga Comics, Mahabali Sando from Fort Comics, Bheema from Vikram Chitrakatha and our very own Mahabali Shera from Manoj Comics.

Mahabali Shera series was the very first series of Manoj Comics. Shera was seen generally teaming with Kalapret and later Ajgar in many comics. He was mainly drawn by artist Surendra Suman and stories were generally written by Naazra Khan.  Shera has got no super powers. He lives in jungle and solves problems using his wit and strength. His stories had entertained people for a long time and this comics is also of the same flavour. The story is about people of jungle tribes getting disappeared regularly and people fear that it is because of some evil power. When Shera tries to investigate, he actually finds some monstrous creatures but are these really monsters and was Shera able to get to the botton of all this. Read the comics to enjoy his adventure and keep visiting the blog for more stuff coming soon.

Jadugar Cobra

Hi Friends, I am back again and this time I am posting a digest comics from Ram-Rahim series. It's called 'Jadugar Cobra'.

Many of the Ram-Rahim comic's soft copies are still not available in good quality and that too when most of us have them available in hard copies as well. This one too was available in low quality. I thank Nagesh Mishra bro who came forward and did a fresh scan of this one and thus I was able to edit and share. I request all to come forward and try rescanning and sharing the ones which are in LQ or not available in soft copy right now.

A notable thing about this comics is that this is the first one from 'Manoj Comics Visheshank'. Prior to this Manoj Comics only printed either the normal copies or Digest comics which was actually a combination of 2-3 earlier published comics. Manoj Comics was at par with Raj Comics those days and providing good Manoj Comics Visheshanks in nearly every set with schemes and rewards was something which boosted their sales a lot. Manoj comics was in one of its best times then. I wish we could see such time again.

Talking about this comics, this is about a supernatural adventure of Ram-Rahim where Ram-Rahim goes all the way to Himalayas to stop the wicked tantrik Jadugar Cobra  from getting Mahashakti Trishul of Lord Shiva. Will they overcome all problems and will they be able to get the Mahashakti before Jadugar Cobra. This also shows Rahim getting killed towards the end but is later revived. So guys, download and read this comics to enjoy it fully and keep visiting the blog for more stuff coming soon.

Uncle Tiger aur Viper Smuggler

Hi friends, I am back again and as promised this time I am posting the second comics from Uncle Tiger series. This one is called 'Uncle Tiger aur Viper Smuggler'. This one is also a rare one and not to be found easily. Thanks again to Gaurav Gandher bro and Mohd. Shahid bro for scanning and hard copy resp. This is the second and probably the last one from the publication. I have just seen the name of the next issue but haven't seen in real. If someone knows about whether third one and any other comics were published from the series then please do let us know.

Uncle Tiger, where on one side is a tough crime fighter and a masked identity, he is also generous at heart and loves helping and gifting people who are doing good. This story is about a group of students who decide to repair a broken sewer pipe in a jungle which is contaminating the jungle water causing water pollution/diseases among animals. Although, students replace the sewer pipe with a new one but still again the new pipe again gets broken. This seems unusual and Uncle Tigers spies to find out the truth. What he finds now gets him involved in another adventure. So, read out to find more on this and some other info pages till we meet again.

Uncle Tiger Vol 1 No 1

Hi friends, today I am uploading a very rare comics from year 1989. This one is called 'Uncle Tiger'. I am sure many people have not even heard about it as the series lasted only for 2-3 issues. I read this comics in my school days and after so many years it is now that I have got it from Gaurav Gandher bro for editing who in turn got it from Mohd. Shahid bro for scanning. This comics is from Indian Atheist Publishers and the publisher is still publishing other books but don't think they are publishing comics anymore.

Talking about the comics, it is about a crime fighter character Uncle Tiger. He wears a Tiger mask and lives in a tree house which is his hide out and head quarter. This is the very first comics of the series containing his story about his initial part of life in which he is a school teacher and in later turn of events he looses his family and becomes a masked crime fighter. There is one more comics of this series which Gaurav bro has given me for editing and sharing, so as soon as its editing is complete, I will share that as well. Till then, enjoy reading this one.

Young Master aur Dangrila

Hi friends, today I am posting yet another comics from Young Master series , ie, 'Young Master aur Dangrila' but point to be noted here is that this time it is from Roshini Comics instead of Goyal Comics.

Roshini Comics is actually a publication from the Goyal Comics only. Roshini Comics started sometime after the closure of Goyal Comics. It used to reprint earlier Goyal Comics again but under the banner of Roshini Comics. Also, they used to print using different covers and different serial numbers as compared to Goyal Comics. But seems they were not able to track the story orders correctly so comics coming later in Goyal sometimes came earlier in Roshini and vice versa. Btw, another interesting fact is that Goyal itself seems to be a reprint publication initially for Neelam Chitrakatha issues. The initial issues of Goyal Comics had characters and titles of Neelam Chitrakatha.

Talking about this comics, this has Young Master drawn by a different artist which brings it a bit close to what he was shown in ads. One of my friends asked me to upload the Young Master ad that I was discussing in my earlier post so here I am uploading an image of that as well..

This comics was published before my earlier uploaded comics 'Young Master Ka Dharmayuddh'. The presentation and artwork of this comics is better than the other Goyal Comics. The story is about Dangrila, the villian of the comics, who wants to get a very strong poison through which he can kill Young Master and he kidnaps Sarpkanya for that, who had came to visit Young Master. Now, can Young Master save his friend and defeat Dangrila is the story of the comics. So, enjoy reading this adventure of Young Master until we meet again (possibly with last one more from Young Master series that I have)

Young Master Ka Dharmayuddh

Hi friends, today I am posting a digest comics from Goyal Comics. This one is called 'Young Master Ka Dharmayuddh'.

Goyal Comics was not a very famous comics publication but still run for a good amount of time. Its characters series were limited. Major ones of the character series were Young Master, Chacha Champaklal, Abhimanyu, Nagputra, Robot and Jhumru. Rest comics were either from Misc series or Horror series. The 2 flag bearer characters of Goyal comics were Chacha Champaklal and Young Master.

Young Master is a crime fighter who is also a trained Karate fighter. I always used to like the advertisements of Young Master drawn by Takshila Arts (or Drona Features) where he is shown as a muscle man in fighting poses similar to Bruce Lee but couldn't really find similar images in comics. I wished he was drawn similar to the ads.  But anyways, his comics were good full of his normal and super normal adventures. His stories even travelled to different worlds like land of snakes, etc. His Sarpkanya series was a very famous one. This particular comics also has got his friend and ally Sarpkanya in it. So, enjoy reading it till we meet again.

Popat Chaupat Ka Panchranga Achaar

Hi friends, today I am uploading a fun filled comics called 'Popat Chaupat Ka Panchranga Achaar'. This comics is from Madhu Muskan Comics. Madhu Muskan Comics was from the same publication that published 'Madhu Muskan' child magazine, Gowarsons Comics, Trishul Comics.

The  characters in this comics are also the Popat-Chaupat, who were already famous comic characters in Madhu Muskan magazine. Popat-Chaupat were the ill-fated (Kismat ke Maare) comic duo, who are always surrounded by the money problems or the others. There pathetic situation arises the element of fun and humour in the comics. As per the comics, it says that we have till now seen only one aspect of their characters, ie, they are fools but this comics will help us in seeing their other aspects as well like they are knowledgeable, kind hearted, they are brave, they are emotional and ofcourse they are still fools. The comics is all about their various foolish acts which will make you laugh.

So, enjoy the comics till we meet again.

Naqabposh

Hi Friends, today I am posting a comics called 'Naqabposh' from Gowarsons Comics. Like other comics in Gowarsons, this is also a Hindi adaptation of an English comics. This comics is a Hindi adaptation of  ' The Black Hood: Red Circle #2: The Dark Destroyer'.

This comics is about a masked crime fighter Kip Berland aka Black Hood aka Naqabposh (in Hindi version) and his exploits. The comics is in the form of short stories. One of the story also talks about the how he lost his love. There is also one story of another masked character called 'The Fox' ('Chalawa' in Hindi).

Talking about the character, Naqabposh is actually the Hindi name for the character Black Hood. He is a character of MLJ Comics, which was later renamed as 'Archie Comics'. The character started appearing from 1940s and got rebooted several times with various persons wearing the Black Hood in different times and holding the identity of character. Angara

Hi friends, today i am uploading a Tulsi Comics called 'Angara' which is first issue in the Angara series.

Almost every hindi publication has a character inspired from Tarzan who resides in jungle and protects the flora & fauna, animals and also at the same time fighting with the criminals or the super villains. We have examples such as Mahabali Shaka, Shera, Kobi(Bheriya), etc in other publications. Angara is also a similar character but his stories were very well written and illustrated. He is a man made by combining parts of various animals thus making him super human. His body was made of Rhino's skin thus making him bulletproof, his eyes were of an eagle giving him excellent sight, brain from a fox thus making him sharp minded, power of an elephant, heart of a lion, etc. His inventor is Dr. Kunal, a bio scientist and surgeon. Angara is a very famous and one of the main characters in Tulsi Comics created by the legends writer Mr. Parshuram Sharma and artist Late Mr. Pradeep Sathe. Angara is said to be the best and longest running works of Mr. Sathe.

The story of this comics is about Dr Kunal, who has trained all the animals of an island to speak in human language and has given them various authorities to work towards running the administration of the island. But soon some Americans start coming in and they want to take the island into their possession. Animals and Dr. Kunal try to make them understand to not do that as it is a part of Indian territory but American soldiers betray them killing many animals. Then Dr. Kunal creates Angara from the body parts of the dead animals and appoints him to be the protector of the wildlife and enemy of the bad people. Thats how Angara starts his journey of adventures. So friends, enjoy reading his initiation story till we meet again.

Sagar Samrat Ka Khazana

Hi friends, today I am uploading the comics 'Sagar Samrat Ka Khazana' from Gowarsons Comics. This comics is from 'Panch Jasoos' series which is a Hindi translation of 'The Famous Five' series.

'The Famous Five' is a very popular series abroad written by the famous English author Enid Blyton. The series was initially published as children novels, then comics and movie adaptions were also made regarding the same. The stories always take place in the school holidays of 5 children after they have returned from their respective boarding schools. Each time they meet they get caught up in an adventure, the location of which varies from book to book.

This particular comics is an adaptation of their novel 'The Famous Five and the Golden Galleon'. Here, these young detectives go on for a adventure ride to an island and somehow explore a sunken ship which holds a treasure. But wait, getting a treasure is not that easy when there are some other people also which are in hunt for it. So, go on to the adventure ride with them and enjoy reading this comics till we meet again.

Tulsikrit Ram Charit Manas-(Part 02)

Hi Friends, today i am posting the 2nd part of the comics I uploaded in my last post. It is 'Tulsikrit Ram Charit Manas Part 2'. If you have not read part 1 of this comics series then it is already present on my blog and you can download the same in the post prior to this one.

As I told you last time also, this comics is based on Tulsidas's version of the great epic Ramayana. Part 1 of this series consisted of the events upto Bharat meeting Lord Rama in the jungle. This comics proceeds the story further by incidents such as invsasion of Shurpanakha, Ravan kidnapping Devi Sita, Lord Ram taking help of the Lord Hanuman and Sugreeva, Lord Hanuman finding Devi Sita and the battle between Ram and Ravan.

This part also follows the same trend of story telling, ie, in the form of Dohas, their meaning and the pictorial representation of the same. I think this type of experiment is very unique in itself and kudos to Indrajaal comics for attempting it. So, enjoy reading this one till we meet again.

Tulsikrit Ram Charit Manas-(Part 01)

Hi friends, on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, I have enhanced and uploaded a comics 'Tulsikrit Ram Charit Manas - Part 1'. This is a rare comics from Indrajaal comics. Although, contrary to many others, I am not a big fan or collector of Indrajaal Comics or IJC (as they are called now), but i still like the comics which are a bit different than normal ones. So, here is this comics, which might not be very famous, but is unique in itself. Generally, IJC is known for Phantom, Mandrake, Flash Gordon, Bahadur, etc heroes but this one is not of that type. Its a mythological story about the famous Indian epic Ramayana.

Ramayana was originally written by Rishi Valmiki in Sanskrit and later rewritten in Hindi as 'Ram Charit Manas' by Goswami Tulisdas. This comics is based on the adaptation from Tulsidas's version. The unique thing about this comics is that story telling is in form of dohas, ie, each frame contains a doha (stanza) from Ram Charit Manas, its meaning is told and a pictorial representation of the same is shown in the frame. So that ways it is covered under 2 parts out of which I am uploading one currently. The 2nd part i will post next week So, till then enjoy reading this one and keep waiting for the next part.. JAI SHRI RAM.

Shaktimaan aur Giddh Grah

Hi friends, I am back again and this time with an Indian Superman. Yes, he is called 'Aakashveer Shaktimaan' and my today's upload is from his series in Madhu Muskan Comics. The comics is 'Shaktimaan aur Giddh Greh'. Luckily, this also seems to be the first comics of Shaktimaan. The character also found his place in some Madhu Muskan magazines as well. The comics art is by Husain Zamin Ji. Husain Zamin Ji needs no introduction. He is already famous for his artwork in Detective characters like Bablu and Sagar-Salim. Before reading this, i never knew if Husain Zamin Ji has ever made a super hero comics. This one is a good character and artwork is also very good.

Now talking about the story, as I said this should be the first comics of Shaktimaan, so this contains his origin about how he gets his super powers. And then he became a super hero defending earth as well as universe. The comics talks about a planet populated by only females which is being troubled by a planet of eagles and queen of female planet takes help of Shaktimaan to defeat the evil eagles. How will Shaktimaan be able to defeat the Eagle King and rescue Female planet is the main story of this comics. So, enjoy reading this till we meet again.

Asterix Olympic Mein

WHi Friends, I am back with yet another upload and this time it is again from Asterix series. In February 1st week also I uploaded an Asterix comics and people liked it very much and wanted to read more. So, that encouraged me to edit one more and here it is. This one is called 'Asterix Olympic Mein'. This is the first Asterix comics being translated and published in Hindi by Gowarsons Comics. After reading this one, I also came to know that Gowarsons initially planned to translate and publish about 23 of Asterix comics but later somehow they were restricted to only around 6.

Now talking about the character and the series. For those of you don't know him, Asterix is a very famous character from French comics world. He is a resident of Gaul village. He together with his friend Obelix gets involved into funny action adventures with the bad Romans. According to Wikipedia,

The success of the series has led to the adaptation of several books into 12 films: eight animated, and four live action. There have also been a number of games based on the characters, and a theme park near Paris, Parc Astérix. To date, 325 million copies of 34 Asteirix books have been sold worldwide, making co-creators René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo France's bestselling authors abroad.

This particular comics is about Asterix participating in Olympics to represent his village. But there are Romans and other contestants there who are superior to him in various sports. Can Asterix win the Olympics against all odds is the main question of the story. You need to read it to find out yourself. So enjoy reading this one till we meet again.

Shiv Puraan Ki Kathaein

Hi friends, on the auspicious occasion of 'Maha Shivratri' festival this week, here is a small gift from my side. My today's upload is comics 'Shiv Puraan Ki Kathaein' from Aadarsh Chitrakatha publications. Aadrash Chitrakatha had been active during early 80's and was printing comics based on Indian Mythology, Historical stories and Moral stories. On seeing the comics one can easily get confused about whether the comics is from Aadarsh Chitrakatha or from Amar Chitrakatha. Aadarsh Chitrakatha had adopted the same story and printing style as Amar Chitrakatha and they mainained it very well. Although the publication hadn't lasted for much time but its comics are still good for the eyes and our mind.

Talking about this comics, this one tells us some stories from Shiv Puraan. There are many stories related to Lord Shiva in Shiv Puraan and many of us are still unaware of these stories. So, this comics tries its bit to tell us some not so common stories about Lord Shiva which makes it different from other mythological comics of Lord Shiva. You must read them to find out yourself. The aesthetic artwork is very much impressive as are the stories. If you like mythology or good art this comics is just the right pick for you. So, enjoy reading this one until we meet again.

Asterix aur Cleopetra

Hi friends, today I am posting a comics 'Asterix aur Cleopatra' from Goversons Comics. Goversons Comics was a subsidiary of Madhu Muskan Comics which was mainly started to print English comics translated into Hindi and most of them were real gems.  This particular comics is from the Asterix series which is a very famous series. Asterix is a small man with lot of intelligence and his friend Obelix is a powerful man but with less brain. The duo is said to be the source of inspiration for Chacha Chaudhary and Sabu from Diamond Comics.

Talking about this comics, this comics is a masterpiece and contains a fun filled action packed comedy story about an Egyptian Cleopetra who challenges a Roman ceaser that her architects are still very good and can build a big palace for him in only 3 months (this is a story of olden times, so as per the building style it was nearly impossible to do that). The poor architect takes the help of his friend Vaidhyanathix, a village doctor who creates some magic syrup which gives immediate immense power. They take along Asterix and Obelix to do the wonder so that architect can complete his deal. The story progresses with lots of problems created by ceaser and Asterix and Obelix just bashing out everything. The story also tours you through famous Sphinx and Pyramids of Egypt. This is a pure masala entertainer and I bet you will definitely like it. So, enjoy reading this one till we meet again.

Khooni Jabra

Hi friends, I am back again with yet another upload. This time I have picked up a horror one, ie, 'Khooni Jabra'  from a lessor known publication 'Durga Comics'. Durga Comics was a short lived publication which I think had published not more than 4-5 sets. But, still this comics is a good one. It is a compilation of some short horror stories similar to what we see in Dark Tales of Manoj Comics. I find the artwork also quite good as compared to other comics in the Durga Comics. Horror genre always contain an element of thrill and excitement which keeps the readers to read till the end and so is in this comics as well. You have to read it to find out yourselves. So, enjoy reading this one till we meet again.

Hi friends, today I am posting a fun filled comics 'Do Shikari' from Tulsi Comics Misc series. This comics is about 2 Hunters who boast about their fake animal adventure stories with each other but see what happens when when the real adventure comes in front of them. The art by Ajit Vasaikar is just the way it should be for such comics. Also, this comics contains 9 short strips from Tulsi comic's funny characters Shalu-Kalu series. I find this one interesting. Hope you too like it. So enjoy reading this one till we meet again.

Moorkhta Diwas

Hi Friends, in my last upload, we were successful in finding the missing brother of Chacha Chaudhary in the form of Chatur Chaudhary. This time again, I found one more missing brother. Kya kaha? Missing brother of whom? our very own famous Raj Comics character Bankelal. Well, I found this character named 'Iznogoud' from a French publication and its a very old one too.

Like Bankelal, 'Iznogoud' (pronounced and meaning 'Is no good' in French accent) is also one of the most famous anti-hero in the french comic strips world. He is the second in command of Khalifa (Calif/King in English) Haroon-al-Pasha (similar to our Raja Vikram Singh) and his sole aim is to overthrow the current Khalifa and take his place but everytime things goes in opposite directions and Khalifa remains safe and even he still remains trusted by the Khalifa.Very much similar to Bankelal, isn't it.

This particular comics was translated into Hindi by Goversons Comics, a subsidiary of Madhu Muskan comics. The main story in this comics is about a day called 'Moorkhta Diwas' where the positions are exchanged, meaning a beggar can be a king and king can be a beggar, etc and Iznogoud is trying his best to make out the best from this day to become the next king. Will he be successful in his traits. Read it to find out yourself. Also, there are 3 more Iznogoud stories in this comics to entertain you more. So enjoy this one till we meet again.

Chatur Chaudhary aur Mr. Natwarlal

Hi friends, do you know about Chacha Chaudhary. Everyone will say Yes. But do you know the missing brother of Chacha Chaudhary. Kya kaha?? Chajju Choudhary. No, he was not his 'missing' brother.

Well, let me me tell you now. I recently met his missing brother, ie Chatur Chaudhary and where ?? in Manoj Comics. Yes, this character is a rip off of Chacha Chaudhary. The stories, characters and artwork are made in the similar way as of Chacha Chaudhary. In the initial stories we see Sabu missing but in the last story even his counterpart also gets himself added into the story. It seems Chacha Chaudhary was selling more those days so Manoj comics wanted to cash on similar character. So, my today's upload is about this character, ie, 'Chatur Chaudhary aur Mr. Natwarlal'. Read it to find it yourself. Enjoy this one till we meet again.
